Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Responds to Iran

“The Iranian Foreign Ministry does not cease its defamatory campaign against Azerbaijan,” stated Leyla Abdullayeva, the official representative of Azerbaijan's diplomatic service, today in Baku.

Commenting on a segment related to Syrian militants from an interview given by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to the Lebanese channel 'Al-Manar,' Abdullayeva remarked: “During the 44-day war, we stated and we reaffirm our statements today that there are no terrorists in Azerbaijan’s territory and there have never been. It is surprising that Iran did not make such accusations during the time of the war,” added the representative of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
