VIDEO: At least 19 dead. Footage released from the crash site of the aircraft

At least 19 people have died, and the fate of three others remains unknown following a plane crash in Tatarstan, an informed source told Interfax.

It was previously reported that an L-410 aircraft, which was carrying parachutists, crashed in the Menzelinsky region. There were 23 people on board the plane: 21 parachutists and 2 crew members.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional press service has confirmed the information about the accident.
