The City Hall Has Not Granted Approval for a New Mine Operation in Yerevan: HBC

The Yerevan City Hall has not given its preliminary approval for the proposed mining activities at the Spandaryan basalt and tuff deposit area.

It is noted that due to the exploitation of more than 20 mines and extensive construction works in Yerevan, atmospheric air pollution has significantly increased, with high dust concentrations becoming quite expressive and noticeable during windy conditions.
