Pope Francis' Call to Christians

Pope Francis has emphasized the importance of Christian unity in a message marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Apostolic Administration for Latin Rite Catholics in Russia, as reported by TASS.

In the context of Eastern Christian traditions, it is vital to continue the journey with brothers and sisters, continually asking God for help in taking steps towards complete unity, the pontiff stated in his message.

He remarked that the establishment of the Apostolic Administration is not merely a legal act or a formal process. “Rather, it is a moment to express gratitude to God and to all brothers and sisters who have supported you along your path,” he added.

The Apostolic Administration of Moscow was first established as the structure of the Roman Catholic Church in the USSR in 1926.
