Updated COVID-19 Data as of October 8

As of October 8, Armenia has confirmed 1,331 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected individuals to 271,205.

According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, 30 citizens died from the virus in one day, raising the total death toll to 5,529.

Additionally, there was one reported case of a patient infected with COVID-19 who died from another illness, bringing the total number of such cases to 1,227 as of October 8.

In total, 31 people died in one day, increasing the overall number of deaths to 6,756.

On the recovery front, 894 individuals recovered in one day, contributing to a total of 247,553 recoveries, with 16,896 currently under treatment.

In the last 24 hours, 8,428 tests were conducted, totaling 1,797,516 tests conducted to date.
