Body of 40-Year-Old Spanish Citizen Found in Shelter
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident has occurred in the Syunik region. Around 09:40, the Kapan police department received a report that there was a body of a man in a shelter located in the campsite adjacent to the Brotherhood cemetery in Kapan city.
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a team of firefighters from the Syunik regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. The operational group of the Kapan police department also arrived.
Rescuers and police discovered the body of 40-year-old Javier Fernandez, a citizen of Spain, in the shelter. According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic doctor, no signs of violence were detected on the body.
Currently, a team from the Armenian Investigative Committee's Syunik regional investigative department is working at the site. Investigations are being prepared in the investigative division, and a forensic examination of the body has been ordered by the investigator.
According to G. Shamshyan, people who were with him had knocked on the door of the wagon shelter, but he did not respond to their knocks, after which they called the firefighters from team 54, who opened the door and found the body of J. Fernandez inside.
