Armenian Foreign Ministry Releases Statement on Death of Artsakh Resident from Opponent's Gunfire

The Armenian Foreign Ministry has released a statement today regarding the death of an Artsakh resident from enemy sniper fire in Martakert.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry's statement reads:

“On October 9, while carrying out agricultural work near the city of Martakert, resident Aram Tepnants of Martakert was killed by sniper fire from the armed forces of Azerbaijan. We extend our deepest condolences and support to the family and relatives of Aram Tepnants.

We strongly condemn the gross violation of obligations undertaken by Azerbaijan under the November 9, 2020 statement and emphasize that this crime must be properly investigated, and those responsible must be held accountable.”
