VIDEO: Child Rescued from Rubble of Collapsed Building in Batumi; Casualties Reported

As previously reported, a residential building has collapsed in Batumi, Georgia. Eyewitnesses indicate that an explosion preceded the building's collapse. Special equipment is currently at the scene, alongside police and medical personnel.

Rescue teams are working to extract individuals from under the debris. According to local sources, two people, a woman and a 6-7 year old child, have been rescued from a vehicle trapped beneath the rubble.

It has been reported that about 10 vehicles were left under the debris, parked near the building. Georgian media sources confirm that 12 homes have collapsed.

There are casualties and injuries, though the exact number is not yet known. Citizens have joined in the rescue efforts.
