The 'Lele Tepe' Operation Did Not Take Place: Insights from My Step Lawmaker

The 'Lele Tepe' operation did not take place. This was stated by Vahagn Aleksanyan from the 'My Step' alliance during a briefing in the National Assembly, addressing various speculations regarding the war.

"The 'Lele Tepe' operation did not take place, and 'Lele Tepe' had no role in that operation. I do not know whether these speculations result from someone's complexes, but false information is regularly thrown into the field, and it becomes a topic of discussion, constantly being speculated upon," he said.

Commenting on the decision not to elect Arthur Ghazinyan as Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee, Vahagn Aleksanyan said, "First of all, Arthur Ghazinyan is not a figure that inspires fear, and secondly, the Deputy Chairman has no special powers apart from presiding over meetings if the chairman is absent. As for why we do not elect him, we could provide a six-hour video format explaining our reasons; one being that he has not served in the Armed Forces, which is certainly one point, but on top of that, he does not have a clear understanding of issues related to the armed forces," he stated, noting that one should at least have an understanding of the structure of the Armed Forces.

Vahagn Aleksanyan mentioned that Arthur Ghazinyan does not clarify the source of his substantial financial resources and added that Ghazinyan makes statements that are unacceptable to him. "We do not have a preferred candidate; we have an undesirable candidate, and that is Arthur Ghazinyan," he said.
