The Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia has received a report regarding a crime related to the visits of the third President Serge Sargsyan to Baden-Baden, which has been forwarded to the Special Investigative Service for examination. This information was provided to Sputnik Armenia by the Prosecutor's Office.
“The report about the crime has been forwarded to the Special Investigative Service in accordance with Articles 180-181 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia for the preparation of necessary materials,” the Prosecutor's Office stated.
It is noteworthy that previously, the Prosecutor's Office had sent publications concerning Sargsyan's visits to the Criminal Police for verification actions and to take further steps based on the findings. As of now, no response has been received from the police regarding these materials, which is why the Prosecutor's Office has demanded that the Criminal Police also forward these publications to the Special Investigative Service for them to be examined along with the prepared materials.
