How Putin Spent His Birthday: Peskov Responds

Russian President Vladimir Putin celebrated his birthday engaged in discussions regarding significant international and regional issues. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, while addressing reporters' questions.

“Primarily, he spent the day on the phone discussing bilateral relations and regional issues. This was also evident from the messages we sent yesterday regarding his phone conversations,” noted the Kremlin representative.

Peskov added that, of course, there were numerous congratulations, but most of the day was dedicated to discussing work-related matters. He also informed that an operational consultation of the permanent members of the Security Council took place yesterday, where congratulations were also expressed.
