Police Contacted ARF Union and Made Illegitimate Demands

The ARF "Nikola Aghbalyan" Student Union announces that it plans to hold a protest in front of the Government building at 15:00, aiming to once again highlight the inconsistency between the Prime Minister's words, actions, and reality.

"Dear Countrymen,
Today at 15:00 in front of the main government building, the police contacted us regarding our planned rally, demanding that we do not use loudspeakers during the demonstration. We condemn this gross violation of citizens' rights and freedoms as per the Law on Freedom of Assembly, enforced by the current authorities. At the same time, we declare that we will not comply with the illegitimate demands presented by the Police of Armenia.
We will gather in front of the main government building at 15:00."
