COVID-19 Cases on the Rise in Armenia: 26 Deaths Reported

As of October 7, at 11:00 AM, a total of 268,672 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Armenia, with 246,259 recoveries and 5,466 fatalities. This information comes from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, which also noted that 9,598 tests were conducted in one day, resulting in 1,309 new confirmed cases of the virus.

Within that period, 502 individuals recovered, while 26 people lost their lives. The previous day recorded 4 deaths where the patients had COVID-19, but the cause of death was due to other underlying health conditions. The total number of such cases has reached 1,225.

Currently, there are 15,722 patients receiving treatment for COVID-19. In total, 1,780,512 tests have been performed across the country.
