«Construction is still underway»: What are the Azerbaijanis building on the Goris-Kapan road

There are no reports of new provocations from Azerbaijanis along the Goris-Kapan interstate highway; the situation is calm, said Karo Kocharyan, Deputy Mayor of Goris, in a conversation with Aysor.am.

“There are no changes, no alarms,” he stated.

When asked whether the Azerbaijanis had completed the construction of any structures on the section of the road under their control, Kocharyan responded negatively.

“Construction is still underway, I don’t know what they are building. Once they finish, it will be clear,” he said.

It is worth noting that earlier, Azerbaijanis had concentrated a large amount of machinery and had begun extensive construction work on the Goris-Kapan interstate highway.
