73.5% of EU Adult Population Fully Vaccinated, While Armenia Lags at 5.5%: Shushan Danielyan

Shushan Danielyan, the head of the staff at Yerevan State Medical University, noted on her Facebook page:

“Today, 1,309 citizens have been confirmed with coronavirus, and 30 patients have died from the disease... As of October 1, more than 6.34 billion doses have been administered across 184 countries (around 31.0 million per day), which is enough to fully vaccinate approximately 41.3% of the global population. In EU countries, 574.9 million vaccinations have been carried out. Approximately 79.3% of the adult population has received the first dose, while 73.5% have received the second. Since the start of vaccinations against COVID-19 on April 13, a total of 517,047 vaccinations have been administered in Armenia, of which 352,600 were the first dose and 164,447 were the second dose, accounting for 5.5% of the population. Between September 26 and October 3, 108,512 vaccinations were carried out, with an average daily rate of about 15,502.

Note: By the way, Armenia is one of the few countries where pro-vaccination supporters are losing to the citizens opposing vaccination…”,
