20-Year-Old Driver Hits 90-Year-Old Woman in Armavir Region

Today, October 7, an accident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 15:40, R.A., a 20-year-old resident of the Armavir region, hit a pedestrian, 90-year-old R.D., with his Kia Sorento at the intersection of Hanarpetutyan and Sayat-Nova streets in Armavir city.

According to shamshyan.com, the injured R.D. was transferred to the "Armavir" medical center, while R.A. presented himself at the Armavir police station after being engaged in explanatory talks with officers from the Armavir police division and the 1st platoon of the 2nd traffic police battalion.

The investigative work at the site was led by Senior Investigator Narek Petrosyan of the same battalion, under whose direction materials are being prepared on the incident. By N. Petrosyan's order, the vehicle has been moved to a special area maintained by the Armavir police division.

According to site information, the pedestrian R.D. is a relative of Doleanyan, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Armavir region.
