Have You Been to Shushi? Abrahamyan Responds to Pashinyan's Statement

During a question-and-answer session with the government in the National Assembly, Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the 'Honorary Duty' faction, recalled Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement in Lithuania regarding Shushi, claiming that no investments had been made and no residential buildings had been constructed there.

He then listed the various constructions erected in Shushi in recent years, noting that anyone who has visited Shushi must have seen residential buildings, hotels, the Central Bank building, kindergartens, and various other structures. He asked Pashinyan whether he had been to Shushi after the war and whether he had seen the buildings he mentioned, which were not damaged during the war, meaning they were not destroyed.

In response, Pashinyan stated that new residential developments are currently being constructed in Ijevan, with roads being asphalted that had not seen asphalt for years. He then reiterated his stance that no residential buildings have been constructed in Shushi, asserting that perhaps during the previous administrations more investment took place in Baden-Baden than in Shushi.

It's worth recalling that Pashinyan had previously declared that no residential buildings had been constructed in Shushi over the past 30 years.
