Vahe Hakobyan on the Copper-Molybdenum Combine Shares
According to Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the 'Hayastan' faction in the National Assembly, the transfer of some shares of the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine to the management of the Government was an incomprehensible deal.
“Many people find it unclear why this transaction took place. There are still many things to clarify regarding this issue, so I cannot elaborate much. When everything becomes clear and we understand what the purpose of all this was, then I will speak. Right now, I cannot open up the brackets, but I promise we will discuss this soon. I have a clear impression that this government has, to put it mildly, misled everyone,” Vahe Hakobyan said during a press briefing with journalists in the parliament.
According to him, people may not have a good understanding of how the shares of a closed joint-stock company are transferred. Therefore, regarding what pursuits are being carried out here, Vahe Hakobyan emphasized that they will soon know.
“Those shares are managed by the Government staff; what does that have to do with the people?” he added.
As for the employees of the copper-molybdenum combine, Hakobyan stated that those who were carrying out their professional activities there have been dismissed.
