Turkey's Defense Minister Discusses 'Peace and Stability in the Region'
Turkey's Defense Minister Hulusi Akar spoke about the significance of military exercises conducted with Azerbaijan in Georgia, emphasizing their importance for the armed forces in a region as crucial as the Caucasus. In an interview with Azerbaijani Report, Akar referred to the meeting of the defense ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia as a valuable opportunity to discuss relations and evaluate future prospects.
Akar noted that the meeting also addressed the issue of maintaining peace and stability in the region. “This region is important from various perspectives, particularly in terms of oil and gas pipelines. Therefore, it is essential for not only us but for all countries in the region that peace and stability prevail,” stated the Turkish minister.
