Film to be Shot in Outer Space: First Film Crew to Launch into Space in 10 Minutes
At 11:55:02 Moscow time, the "Soyuz MS-19" spacecraft will launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station. Onboard the spacecraft are Russian hero cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, film director Klim Shipenko, and actress Yulia Peresild.
This event is unprecedented in history; for the first time, a film will be shot not in a film studio but in Earth’s orbit. Experts from the space sector will assist in the endeavor, and they will also appear in the film.
Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko will spend at least twelve days at the space station. Peresild plays the role of a surgeon who, according to the storyline, goes into orbit to save a cosmonaut.
