After the Brawl, Kocharyan Mildly Rebukes His Allies During Meeting

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that "Robert Kocharyan sent a veiled message during a press conference yesterday, indicating that the well-known brawl in parliament between his led coalition and the representatives of the 'Civil Contract' party is displeasing to him. ‘Parliament is not a ring; it should be understood that parliament is a place where you work according to specific rules,’ he stated in response to a question regarding his satisfaction with the parliamentary activities of the ‘Hayastan’ coalition.

‘These are not battles without rules; this is ultimately a parliament, and we must explain to our supporters that there are certain confines from which the faction cannot step out.’ Furthermore, we learned that following the notorious brawl, Kocharyan mildly rebuked his allies during their first meeting, stating that physical confrontations should not occur – either they should not enter parliament and continue fighting in the streets in that style, or if they are in parliament, they need to adhere to the rules of the genre.

It should be recalled that before entering the parliament, Kocharyan’s supporters claimed they were determined to make life hell for the authorities and not allow them to have a tranquil day. However, thirty cannot physically defeat seventy, so the focus should shift to intellect, speech, knowledge, and legislative skills.’
