Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called on Armenia to abandon any attempts at revenge and promised to severely suppress any provocation from the Armenian side: 'Do not provoke us, keep yourselves in check. If you keep yourselves in check, you will be able to live in peace. But if there is again some provocation, statement, or action against us, we will crush your head without looking at anyone. No one will be able to protect you,' quotes the state leader as reported by 'Interfax Azerbaijan'...

Aliyev's latest disgraceful attack on Armenia concerns not only the authorities but all of us. This scoundrel insults all of us, doing so with particular pleasure and, by the way, for far-reaching political purposes. Now the question is whether the 'proud citizens' and Armenia's 'peaceful' authorities are ready to keep themselves 'in check' according to the Azerbaijani vision. What does 'in check' mean, and what does it mean not to be? I truly hope that we all understand that by the phrase 'keep in check,' Azerbaijan’s president means the agreement of Armenians to the destruction of Artsakh and the partitioning of Armenia.
