Aliyev Advises Those Living with a 'Sense of Revenge' in Armenia to Think of Themselves
The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, visited the Jabrayil and Mataghis regions today, which came under Baku's control after the 44-day war in Artsakh. In Jabrayil, he attended the inauguration of a joint service center between KAMAZ LLC and the local automobile factory.
During his speech in Jabrayil, Aliyev stated that “the Armenian army does not exist” and that “Azerbaijani soldiers have fundamentally destroyed it.” He claimed, “The unity demonstrated by our nation during the 44 days presented the Azerbaijani people to the world as a worthy and great nation. The fist, which symbolizes our victory, is not only a symbol of strength but also of unity.”
Aliyev also proclaimed that they have “restored historical justice.” He added, “Look at the statements Armenia is making now. There is not a trace left of the 30-year myths. Where is their victorious army? Where is the invincible Armenian soldier? Those who conducted disgusting propaganda against us for thirty years and tried to humiliate the dignity of the Azerbaijani people have already learned their lessons.”
In Mataghis, Aliyev issued a fresh set of threats directed towards Armenia. In particular, he advised those in Armenia living with a “sense of revenge” to think of themselves. “The iron fist is here; it has not gone anywhere; it is in place. Do not irritate us; take care of yourselves. If you take care of yourselves, you will be able to live peacefully. If there are any provocations, statements, or actions against us again, we will crush you without looking at anyone. No one can protect you,” he warned.
