Resident of Vank Community in Artsakh Commits Suicide

On September 30, 2021, at 15:25, the Artsakh Investigative Committee's territorial investigative department received a case regarding the suicide of Aljosha Mirzajani Sahakyan, born in 1948, who hanged himself in his private home in the Vank community of the Martakert region of Artsakh. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 109, Part 1 of the Artsakh Criminal Code.

The Artsakh Investigative Committee has reported that a senior investigator from the territorial investigative department has been dispatched to the scene. Relevant investigative and procedural actions are underway to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
