Deputy Chief of Staff Stepan Galstyan Arrested

According to reports, a search is currently underway at the residence of Deputy Chief of Staff Stepan Galstyan. He has just been arrested.

It is noteworthy that Galstyan was recently interrogated by the National Security Service (NSS) in connection with a high-profile arms case.

Recall that a criminal case was initiated by the NSS related to an arms procurement auction that took place in 2011, during which former Chief of Military Aviation Avetik Muradyan was arrested. Former Defense Minister David Tonoyan and arms supplier David Galstyan (known as Patron David) have also been implicated.
