Azerbaijan Declares International Manhunt for 24 Armenian Figures, Including Notable Names
Azerbaijan has declared an international manhunt for various Armenian figures, labeling them as terrorists. This was announced by Azerbaijan's Chief Prosecutor, accusing these compatriots of being war terrorists and sending relevant letters to various countries' intelligence agencies, including the intelligence agency of the Russian Federation.
We have obtained the list of those wanted, which includes 24 Armenians, primarily citizens of Russia and France, but also Armenians with citizenship from Belgium, Georgia, Jordan, Palestine, Syria, Belarus, and the United States.
Among these 24 individuals are several notable names, such as Vahagn Chakhalyan, a public-political figure from Javakhk, who has been fighting against Nikol Pashinyan's regime; Armen Mardoyan, a representative of the Armenian community in Crimea and head of the Crimean Volunteers Union, who organized rallies in Yerevan during the National Liberation Movement with pro-Russian figures; renowned investigator Vova Vardanov, who is also presented as a Russian citizen, though he is a resident and citizen of Armenia; and Mihran Harutyunyan, a Greco-Roman style wrestler residing in Russia who participated in the second Nagorno-Karabakh war.
If Azerbaijan’s request is accepted, these individuals could be arrested and extradited to Azerbaijan as criminals in any country.
We will provide more detailed information about the Armenian figures included in this list soon.
