Azerbaijan and Turkey Invite Iran's Worst Enemy, Israel, to Baku: Norat Ter-Grigoryants

Azerbaijan and Turkey have invited Iran's worst enemy, Israel, to Baku, which is arming Azerbaijan's armed forces with lethal and even prohibited weapons to eliminate the people in Nagorno-Karabakh and even the Armenians of Armenia. This was stated by Soviet and Armenian military leader, Lieutenant General Norat Ter-Grigoryants, in an interview with realtribune.ru.

"Israel is involved with Azerbaijani airports. These are apparently being prepared for the landing of NATO air forces. Preparations are underway for aggression against Iran. Baku, having received modern means of armed struggle from Israel, plans to attack Iran under the guise of NATO aggressors, supposedly to liberate 'their own' people, who are actually real Azerbaijanis living normally in Iran and do not need liberation," said General Ter-Grigoryants.

He emphasized that Iranian authorities understand something is amiss. The alliance of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, and Israel could bring grief to the people of Iran. "In my military opinion, Iran is doing the right thing by bringing its armed forces to full combat readiness and conducting exercises near the borders with aggressive Azerbaijan, to organize cooperation between the armed forces and the people to defend the country and prevent the sudden aggression of these cunning provocateurs," added General Ter-Grigoryants.

He also pointed out that under the pretext of the war against Artsakh, Aliyev has already brought NATO Turkey under the nose of Russia. "Now NATO is confidently sitting on the stage of military operations in the Caucasus. Azerbaijan is the second Turkish state that is actually a NATO member, even if in the background. I hope that the Russian Federation's Security Council will regulate this situation after the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan," explained Ter-Grigoryants.

The source reminds that on October 1, the largest military exercises in recent decades, titled 'Khayerbi Conquerors,' began in the northwestern regions of Azerbaijan, bordering Armenia.

"For Iran, the change of state borders in this region is unacceptable. All legal boundaries must be respected. The possible weakness of one country in terms of border defense does not mean that another country should cross the border with external assistance. Iran will not allow this," stated Brigadier General Kiomars Heydari, commander of the Iranian Ground Forces.
