The appeal against the decision to arrest Davit Tonoyan has already been prepared and is likely to be submitted to the court today. This was stated by Davit Tonoyan's lawyer, Sergey Hovhannisyan, in a conversation with Tert.am.
“There are other decisions that will also be appealed as a formality; I do not wish to disclose our further steps at this moment,” said lawyer Sergey Hovhannisyan.
It is noteworthy that the general jurisdiction court of Yerevan, headed by Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan, made a decision to arrest former Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan for two months.
As previously reported, Davit Tonoyan and Davit Galstyan (Patron Davo) are suspected of embezzling over 2.2 billion drams and committing fraud, according to the National Security Service.
