1678 Remains Discovered and Recovered to Date

Search efforts today in Varanda yielded no results. This was reported by the State Emergency Situations Service of Artsakh.

“The search for the remains of fallen soldiers was conducted today with a rescue squad in the Varanda (Fizuli) region. The searches did not produce results; no remains or fragments were discovered.

It should be noted that since the ceasefire, the rescue teams have discovered and recovered a total of 1678 remains in the occupied territories of Artsakh, including civilians.

The State Emergency Situations Service will provide additional information regarding future search directions and results,” the statement said.
