We Need to Separate Rumors from Scientifically Proven Facts, Says Professor on Vaccine Side Effects
There is no evidence regarding the effects of the coronavirus vaccine on the eyes, stated Professor Anthony Aldaven from the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California during a press conference held at the Armenpress press hall. He emphasized that little is known about the negative side effects of the vaccine.
"We need to separate unsupported circulating information, rumors, from scientifically established materials. As a doctor, as an ophthalmologist, I want to emphasize that the negative consequences of coronavirus are much more severe, and the risk of death is significantly higher than the negligible risk that the vaccine may carry," said Anthony Aldaven.
He noted that he himself has been vaccinated, having received the first dose last December and the second in January. The professor insists that vaccination reduces the risk of contracting, being hospitalized due to, and death from coronavirus.
"Different countries use different vaccines, and all of them reduce the risks I mentioned. I urge everyone to get vaccinated. If you don’t do it for yourself, then do it for those you love," stated Anthony Aldaven.
