Significant Increase in Coronavirus Infection Cases

As of September 30, Armenia has confirmed 1,022 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections to 261,697. According to the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia, 20 citizens died from the virus in one day, with the death toll rising to 5,319.

In one day, there was 1 death recorded among patients infected with coronavirus from other illnesses. As of September 30, the number of these cases has reached 1,209. A total of 21 people died in one day. The overall number of death cases has reached 6,528.

In one day, 650 people recovered from the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 241,841, while 13,328 individuals are currently undergoing treatment. A total of 6,402 tests were conducted in one day, making the cumulative testing figure 1,712,685 to date.
