Saakashvili Continuously Obstructs Georgia's Development: Georgian Foreign Minister

Saakashvili continuously obstructs the development of the country, not only now when he has fled and renounced his Georgian citizenship but also hindered Georgia's development even while in power. This was stated by the Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, as reported by 1tv.ge.

According to him, Georgia inherited the most severe legacy in terms of justice from Saakashvili's rule. Zalkaliani noted that Mikheil Saakashvili will not be able to return to Georgia and will not obstruct the country's development.

“Because of his political actions, we found ourselves in a situation where no one wanted to talk to us. When we came to power, I personally, when I went through the association negotiations, most of the association agreement had not been agreed upon. This was the result of his political actions and where we were. When discussing justice, the hardest legacy that Georgia has received in terms of justice was his administration. He was obstructing while in power and is still obstructing with such statements and actions that he presents to our society every day.
