Record Number of COVID-19 Cases in Ukraine

Ukraine has reported the highest number of new coronavirus cases since April, according to The Guardian. In the last 24 hours, nearly 12,000 people have tested positive for COVID-19, and 194 individuals have died.

In recent weeks, the spread of the coronavirus has increased in Ukraine. The authorities have tightened restrictions as a result. Over the summer, Ukraine had eased restrictions, but last week, a 'yellow' level of danger was declared throughout the country, leading to limitations on mass events and visits to gyms, movie theaters, and other entertainment venues.
