Protest Action in Front of Government: How Did a 15 Thousand Dram Test Become 5 Thousand Drams?

Members of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation's Yerevan city committee are currently holding a protest in front of the government building. One of their representatives mentioned in a conversation with journalists that they have come to receive answers from Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan regarding several issues.

"The main question is related to testing. We are not against vaccination, but there are several inquiries. How did it happen that a 15 thousand dram test became 5 thousand drams? According to experts, the cost of testing is about 2 thousand drams. Up to this point, 1.7 million tests have been conducted. This means that the government, which speaks of plunder, has made a profit of 37 million dollars in one year. We don’t know which organization has made that profit, but the people have been robbed in the name of testing.

Before September 21, the number of infected individuals was 400-500 daily, and under those conditions, the government decided to hold an event at Republic Square. Did the minister object to that decision, since after that the number of infected people rose to over a thousand?" he stated.
