Prime Minister Highlights Financial Support for Third Child in Family
I would like to emphasize the program for providing financial support for the third and each subsequent newborn child in a family, which is set to commence on January 1, 2022. This means that starting from January 1, families will receive monthly support of 50,000 drams for their third and any following newborn child until they reach the age of 6. This announcement was made today, September 30, by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
Pashinyan underscored the importance of the renovation of kindergartens and schools, as well as the construction of the Sisian-Agarak section of the North-South road, which is set to begin by the end of 2022. “In terms of the construction of reservoirs, we have set a rather high benchmark, and to overcome these challenges, we need to work effectively and actively,” he stated.
According to Pashinyan, the planning of 350 billion drams for capital investments is unprecedented in the history of the third republic. “Starting today, ministries should begin the implementation process of the programs planned for the 2022 budget, particularly regarding capital investments. I expect that all competitions scheduled for 2022 projects will be announced as soon as possible so that by January 1, we already have winners in the competitions,” the Prime Minister said.
