Iran to Start Military Exercises Involving Artillery, Drones, and Helicopters Near Azerbaijan Border
The Iranian Armed Forces will commence military exercises in the northwestern regions of the country starting October 1. Notably, this area borders Azerbaijan.
According to the Isna news agency, the commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, Kiomars Heydari, announced that the military will begin maneuvers named "Conquerors of Khaybar" on October 1.
The drills will involve artillery, armored vehicles, drones, and helicopters. Heydari stated that the exercises in the northwestern and other regions aim to check the readiness of the armed forces, enhance combat capabilities, and test military equipment.
