Erdogan Invites Vladimir Putin to Turkey
The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has invited Vladimir Putin to Turkey in connection with the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, TASS reports.
“This year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations. On this occasion, we have invited Putin to visit our country this year,” Erdogan said.
He also mentioned that Turkey is “in favor of continuing and deepening working relations with Russia, including regarding the situation in Syria east of the Euphrates River.”
