History of People’s Diseases Not Even Studied: Citizen Protests Against Mandatory Vaccination

There is a protest in front of the Ministry of Health. Citizens are demanding that the minister declare null and void the order requiring all employees to either get vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo PCR testing twice a month starting October 1.

“For example, I had stomach pain from ordinary aspirin for a year; what will this unclear, chemically untested solution do? How many victims have we already had? I myself contracted COVID; who has the right to force me to get vaccinated? Is there a laboratory in Armenia that can check what the vaccine is made of? People’s medical histories are not examined, their health status is not studied—just go get vaccinated like a robot, and no one takes responsibility for the produced medicines,” said one participant of the protest.

Regarding the issue of taking PCR tests, the citizens stated that it is just another convenient way to extract money from people. “If I get vaccinated, what guarantee is there that I won’t get sick the next day in the subway or on public transport if my test is negative? I consider it absurd; it’s illogical and just a way to make money,” he added.
