Turkey Accuses Armenia

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, on the first anniversary of the second Artsakh war. As reported by Ermenihaber.am, they held a joint press conference during which Çavuşoğlu accused Armenia of leaving Azerbaijan's peace proposal unanswered to this day.

Referring to the positive messages received from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Çavuşoğlu reminded that these were merely in response to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“From the very beginning, our greatest wish has been for this region to be peaceful and stable. This has been the aim of the comprehensive peace agreement proposal made by Azerbaijan to Armenia. However, there has still not been a positive response,” he stated.

Concluding his remarks, the Turkish Foreign Minister emphasized that moving forward, Turkey, in coordination with Azerbaijan, will take the necessary steps required for future processes.
