The Karabakh Conflict Has Passed into History: Aliyev's Speech on September 27
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has stated that Baku has resolved the Karabakh conflict through military-political means, declaring that the war is in the past.
According to a report by "RIA Novosti", Aliyev made this statement during a speech addressed to the people on September 27.
"Azerbaijan has restored its territorial integrity. We have resolved the conflict through military-political means; the war is in the past, and the Karabakh conflict has passed into history. There is no administrative territory called 'Nagorno-Karabakh' in Azerbaijan, and if someone wishes to resurrect the deceased entity known as 'Nagorno-Karabakh', then let them do so in their own territory, create a republic or an entity named 'Nagorno-Karabakh' in their jurisdiction, and we will recognize it. But not in Azerbaijan. That issue has been resolved," Aliyev said.
