Serious Car Accident in Kotayk Province: 28-Year-Old Driver Crashes Mercedes into Gas Pipeline, Injuries Reported

A serious car accident occurred today in Kotayk Province. At around 5:00 AM, 28-year-old Taron G. lost control of his Mercedes vehicle on the 3rd km section of the Yeghvard-Zovuni highway, veering off the road and crashing into a gas pipeline. The vehicle flipped several times and ended up overturned in a field.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, Taron G. and his passenger, 21-year-old Gor Kh. from Kotayk Province, sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the Armenia Medical Center.

Authorities are preparing materials regarding the incident. Emergency services from Gazprom Armenia arrived promptly to restore the damaged support columns and pipelines, working for several hours to ensure that gas supply to the residents could be resumed shortly.
