Was money spent from the state budget for the 30th anniversary celebration of independence?

The event held on September 21 at Republic Square, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Republic of Armenia's Independence, has sparked various discussions. Alongside this, different figures related to the expenditures are actively circulating.

The newspaper "Pasta" addressed a written inquiry to the government of Armenia, asking how much money was allocated from the state budget for the mentioned event. We received a response from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office (in fairness, impressively quick—just 50 minutes later, unlike several state structures that often take up to 5 workdays even for a brief response). The response stated, "The event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence, which took place on September 21 at 8:00 PM in the Republic Square of Yerevan, was organized by 'Domino Productions' LLC. The Government of Armenia received the program for the event from the aforementioned company, which was approved by the State Commission for the Preparation and Organization of Events Dedicated to Armenia's Independence Day. At the same time, we inform you that no funds were allocated from the state budget for the implementation of the event. 'Domino Productions' attracted the necessary funds from private sponsors for the realization of the program."

We also sent a written inquiry to 'Domino Productions' LLC, requesting information about the sources of financing and a complete breakdown of expenditures. We will present this data to the public as soon as we receive a response.
