Tigran Arzakanzyan Establishes New Political Party
Tigran Arzakanzyan, along with his allies, is leaving the ranks of the Democratic Party. According to Factinfo, during a press conference today, Arzakanzyan announced that a new political party has already been established, and details regarding its members and activities will be disclosed soon.
Arzakanzyan also stated that their party is seeking to find grounds for collaboration with both parliamentary and extra-parliamentary forces. A general assembly meeting is also planned in the near future, after which many things will become clearer.
While he preferred to remain silent about the party's name for the moment, he did declare that they have begun broad cooperation in the political sphere. In particular, they are attempting to find avenues for partnership with extra-parliamentary forces, organizing meetings and discussions.
“The issues we are advancing are being discussed, and I hope they will come to fruition. These are the problems we wanted to address and incorporate into our program to advance for the benefit of our people, country, security, and economic development. Even if we are not in parliament and do not form part of the government, we can work within extra-parliamentary frameworks and committees,” he stated.
