Video: 'Criminal Cases Initiated Against More Than 300 Community Leaders' - Ishkhan Saghatelyan

The agenda of the extraordinary session of the National Assembly includes a package of draft amendments to the laws on the administrative division of Armenia and local self-government. As reported, opposition factions are not participating in the discussions.

In a brief interview with journalists, Ishkhan Saghatelyan stated that the interests of the communities are being ignored and there is a political goal to establish power in the communities as well. According to him, there is widespread discontent in the communities, but many do not have the courage to go out into the streets and fight.

"There are criminal cases initiated against more than 300 community leaders," said the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
