There Are Over 1000 Azerbaijanis in Syunik, Engaged in Active Engineering Works: Hakobyan

Currently, there are over 1000 Azerbaijanis in Syunik, actively conducting engineering works, said Vahe Hakobyan, a member of the ARF "Hayastan" faction and former governor of Syunik, during a conversation with journalists.

"I assume they are preparing for winter and I believe that there will be agreements in the near future behind our backs regarding roads and corridors. They are preparing for these processes," said Hakobyan.

He noted that there has been a significant emigration wave in Syunik, and the current authorities are doing everything possible to facilitate the depopulation of Armenian villages.
