Citizens Choose Whether to Spend or Not, Says Pashinyan
Citizens choose whether to spend or not. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during today's meeting of the Armenian government, referring to discussions within the public regarding the health minister's order that comes into effect on October 1.
“People do not need any additional expenses. The state ensures that these people, our dear compatriots, receive vaccinations absolutely free of charge. In other words, the citizen chooses whether to spend or not,” he said.
Addressing the exceptions for government members in the order regarding the restrictions effective from October 1, Pashinyan emphasized that government members had been vaccinated earlier. “All the people sitting in this room, if they do not have contraindications, are vaccinated. Therefore, when the government sets any rules for citizens, it adheres to those rules itself. I am vaccinated, we are all vaccinated, our family members are vaccinated,” Pashinyan added.
