An Employee of a Dairy Factory Hit by a Ford Transit Has Died on the Spot

Today, on September 24th, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in the Syunik region. Around 10:50 AM, the Sisian police department received a report that a Ford vehicle, used as a milk transportation tanker, had struck a pedestrian in an area adjacent to the gaja factory at the outskirts of the city of Sisian.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, officers from the 1st platoon of the 6th company of the 2nd traffic police battalion, led by platoon commander Gegham Margaryan and company commander Karen Ohanyan, arrived promptly at the scene.

Operational teams from the Sisian police department, headed by the department chief, also arrived promptly. The police established that the deceased pedestrian was Lilit Mkrtumyan, a resident of the Syunik region, who worked at the dairy factory located near the accident site.
