Terrorist Group Neutralized in Russia

Staff of the Federal Security Service of Russia have neutralized a terrorist group by arresting fifteen of its members operating in the Sverdlovsk region. This information was reported by the press service of the FSB of Russia.

According to the agency's information, the court has chosen imprisonment as a preventive measure against all arrested individuals, and criminal cases have already been initiated against five members of the group under several serious articles, such as promoting terrorist activities, providing support, organizing a terrorist group, illegal acquisition, possession, and sale of weapons, as well as the production of explosive materials.

Ten individuals will be deported from Russian territory. During the neutralization operation, three kilograms of explosive material were seized, which the group members had prepared for implementing their criminal plans.
