Key Words are 'Competition' and 'Winning': Papikyan on Company Led by Alen Simonyan's Brother

Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan does not see any corruption risk in the fact that a company led by the younger brother of National Assembly President Alen Simonyan won the tender for asphalting the intra-community roads of the Aparan community. This was stated by Papikyan during a broadcast on Radio Liberty in response to a question from a Facebook user.

"I absolutely do not see any corruption risk here; the key words are 'competition' and 'winning,' which say it all. I encourage the questioner to investigate how many competitions this individual has participated in and how many he has won," Papikyan said.

When asked why they criticized the previous authorities, claiming that those connected to them were winning tenders, Papikyan replied that they had grounds for criticism.
