I Apologize That I Can't Drink Water With a Mask on My Face, Avanesyan Joked

During discussions in Parliament regarding measures related to the coronavirus pandemic, Member of Parliament from the 'Armenia' faction, Aregnaz Manukyan, noted that using the same mask twice is more dangerous than not wearing a mask at all. He said, 'When we are delivering speeches in Parliament or drinking water, we sometimes take off our masks, put them on the table, and then put them back on. This is more dangerous than not wearing a mask from the outset.'

He then addressed Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, stating, 'You yourself have made that mistake numerous times. When you are delivering a speech in the National Assembly, you take off your mask, put it on the podium, and then put it back on your face after finishing your speech, thereby setting a bad example for the citizens.'

Avanesyan jokingly responded to the MP, apologizing, 'I apologize that sometimes I drink water and cannot drink with the mask on my face; it happens, what can I do.'
